Investing in an Atmosphere of Accountability:
When investing in an atmosphere of accountability for yourself, you will want to state and clarify your specific goals. Make a commitment to not make excuses, to not put the responsibility on anyone else, or lie to yourself that could derail you from working toward your goals. Make time-bound measurements of reaching your goals. And, keep balance between the journey and the end results
Implementing a Life that is Accountable to Others:
The advantage of accountability with others so that you are not walking the path alone. It is hard to sustain the initial motivation when you are reaching for goals by yourself. By having someone to keep you accountable, you have someone that can regularly evaluate your progress, you have another pair of eyes that might see possible obstacles that you'll need to be aware of, and the benefit of a trusted accountable partner to push you more in establishing your action plans, implementing those plans, and achieving those plans.
Assisting Others with Accountability:
What a privilege to pay it forward with accountability for others. Especially if you have already been down a particular road. You have the instrumental power to encourage, to speak truth, and to share your testimony on what has worked and not worked for you. We are created for community and relationships. And what a wonderful way to edify others in their health journey by walking along side them, getting to cheer their success.
Grace and Peace,
