Hope in Health

Where does your hope come from?
If we are to look closer at the definition of hope, we find that it is a feeling of expectations and a desire for a certain thing to happen. Health is the general condition of the body in which someone is thriving; being sound in body, mind, and spirit.
I venture to say, this want of hope within our health is embedded in each of us, individually.
To thrive, to be without joint pain, no signs of illness, who wouldn't want to live in the perpetual bliss of health. How can we create lasting achievements within our realm of control regarding our health. How do we get started, how do we stay the course, how do we strengthen our discipline? I believe it all begins with HOPE. Not the arbitrary word but the definition by taking the initiative of the expectation for something to happen. Hope can bring about motivation, joy, and a catalyst for meeting goals. Hope not only brings about positive outcomes, but also helps in lowering stress, anxiety, and depression. It has also been found to help in respiration, circulation, and motor function.
Set your hope in a strong foundation. When you place your health as a priority for you and those who love, hope is a key ingredient to bring about success. Write out your goals, write out your hopes in reaching those goals, and then watch your those desires become reality and be sure to journal the ultimate outcome of your achievement.
"I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my hope come from? My hope comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1
