Soul Goals
"She sets about her work vigorously, her arms are strong for her tasks." Proverbs 31:17

We have spent this year finding tangible elements to increase our fitness and nutrition ability. To become strong and disciplined. To remain motivated and encouraged. But our bodies are aging everyday, so how do you go beyond just the physical aspect and strengthen who we are at our core. Our SOUL is an intangible essence of a living being. Our reason, character, feelings, consciousness, and thoughts. It is ultimately "who we are". So, if we spend so much time thinking and working on our outward appearance, strength, balance and stability, should we not also spend at least some time on our inner being. Beyond cholesterol and trans fats and organ function... but the depth of "heart health". Becoming better, stronger, versions of ourselves?
Worship - what do you WORSHIP
Choose JOY
Think upon morally HONORABLE things
Pray with a THANKFUL HEART
Share LOVE - GIVE Generously
You may be thinking, "Oh, what a simple little... ridiculous list!" Oh, sweet friend, it is far from simple or an easy task. Like all other things in regards to strength and conditioning it takes time, practice, persistence, flexibility, and faith. It usually consists of failing and starting over, feeling insecure and out of your element, and moments that feel like a waste of time.
My question, is... "what do you have to lose in trying?"
All these items in the list are nothing but hopeful positive attributes, that cannot harm you and only bring about goodness. And, that outcome promises to bring peace, faith, knowledge, virtue, self control, perseverance, kindness, and love.
"This is why we do not give up or lose heart, though our outward bodies are wasting away, yet inwardly our souls are being renewed every day." 2 Corinthians 4:16
